About Utah Veteran Business Resource Center
Utah Veteran Business Resource Center
Dedicated to the empowerment and success of veteran entrepreneurs, the Utah Veteran Business Resource Center stands as a steadfast pillar of support since its inception in 2017. Fueled by the collaborative efforts of the Utah Department of Veteran and Military Affairs (UDVMA) and The Mill Entrepreneurship Center at Salt Lake Community College, our organization is unwavering in its commitment to fostering growth and innovation within the veteran business community. At the heart of our mission lies the unwavering pledge to counsel, advise, mentor, and champion Utah veterans, active duty personnel, reservists, guards, and their spouses on their journey to establish and cultivate their businesses.
A defining hallmark of the Utah Veteran Business Resource Center is its resolute dedication to inclusivity and representation. Acknowledging the rich diversity inherent to the veteran entrepreneurial landscape, our center proudly extends its support to minority and underserved communities, ensuring that the composition of our beneficiary population mirrors that of the broader U.S. demographic. A pivotal stride in this direction is the Utah Veteran Business Registry, a collaborative initiative realized through a partnership with the UDVMA. This dynamic registry enables business owners to proudly designate their entities as veteran-owned, underscoring their invaluable contribution and facilitating networking opportunities within the veteran business ecosystem. It is with utmost honor that we stand alongside the UDVMA, confirming veteran status and extending our unwavering hand to uplift and amplify the endeavors of these veteran-owned enterprises.
