Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, UT. City Council: Work Session: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Work Session is a time for the City Council to receive and discuss information pertaining to the agenda items. No actions are taken in this session. Policy Session: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM During Policy Session, the City Council will take action on the agenda items discussed in the Work Session. Campus Dr. #101, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 Who can join the Legion? All veterans are welcome. If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion. What is the difference between the VFW and the American Legion? While both the VFW and American Legion are organizations that serve veterans, they have different requirements for entry. The VFW is open only to veterans who served in combat, while the Legion is open to anyone who has served in the military. What kinds of resources are available? Post 111 has a Veterans Service Officer VSO to assist with PACT Act Claims, military disability ratings, and accessing other needed resources. Our Mission To enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness. The American Legion's vision statement is "The American Legion: Veterans Strengthening America."
