12/17/2024 | Learn everything you need to know to avoid costly fines! The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), aimed at combating illicit financial activity, went into effect on January 1, 2021. Under the act, small businesses in the United States need to file beneficial ownership information reports (BOIR) with the Department of the Treasury by January 1, 2025 Failure to submit new paperwork by the deadline of January 1, 2025, puts small business owners at risk for criminal penalties, imprisonment, and fines up to $10,000. 6 pm, Join us with, Kenton Anderson, CPA with BGM, as he cuts through the confusion and answers your questions about th Beneficial Ownership Information BOI Report. 12/7/2024 | December 7 Join us from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Camp Floyd State Park to see how the soldiers of Camp Floyd celebrated Christmas with soldiers throughout the park. Tour the Commissary and the Inn while you are here seeing the park’s Christmas decorations. Don’t forget to visit with Santa Clause between 2:00 and 4:00 PM and receive a free gift while supplies last. But be wary that the Grinch may steal what you have. Campus Dr. #101, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 Who can join the Legion? All veterans are welcome. If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion. What is the difference between the VFW and the American Legion? While both the VFW and American Legion are organizations that serve veterans, they have different requirements for entry. The VFW is open only to veterans who served in combat, while the Legion is open to anyone who has served in the military. What kinds of resources are available?
